Ye Olde Card Shoppe

Some folks like to unwind from a stressful work week by going to the local pub and knocking back a few cold ones. Others take a more holistic approach like yoga or some other form of exercise. Me, I like to head over to my LCS- and that's exactly what I did last Friday after a morning filled with conflict and thoughts of handing in my resignation.

The best part of this visit was that not one dime came out of pocket. In fact, I took about a half-dozen cards that had been earmarked for eBay and turned them into store credit, nearly doubling the credit I already had on the books. So let's take a look at a few of the more exciting additions to the collection.

The rest of the new additions were mostly for the Chipper Jones collection, one of which I've already posted about (the R&N China Porcelain Topps).

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I am behind on your blog and feel like I'm not seeing your links to them on Bluesky. Excellent pick ups! I have been holding on to a feeling for a while, too afraid to say it out loud. But I'll say it here as a test. I don't really like the 1954 design. It's a kissing cousin for 1953, which I'm ok with, but I just can't get myself to like it. That being said, the cards are attractive, and your cards here are particularly nice.
